The Learning By Doing A Child’s Way Language and Mathematics lessons align with not just best practices for students but for emergent bilinguals. The lessons are researched-based, age appropriate, year-long, fun, and align with Texas and Common Core guidelines. All lessons are systematically organized to build students’ skills while also enhancing their self-esteem. As children progress through each lesson, they will develop a strong literacy foundation while refining their skills and mastering abstract concepts. The intentional and methodical framework of the lessons allows teachers to differentiate instruction while students are able to engage with simple to complex literacy concepts!
Therefore, this program is flexible; which means it can be integrated with district curriculum or as the core curriculum. Teachers have implemented the Learning By Doing A Child’s Way lessons during language, mathematics, and even intervention time blocks. They have the freedom to infuse their own style and creativity using their own themes or district curriculum to each lesson! Moreover, pacing guides with lesson prompts are provided for each teacher; nevertheless, what makes this program unique is that we train teachers in their school and in a classroom! We go to you and co-set-up your classrooms with all the hands-on lessons! We are in the work with you! The program is currently being implemented successfully in both mainstream and bilingual classrooms throughout the state of Texas. Join the Learning By Doing A Child’s Way journey today!
